Don't like them (don't like the h** word - too much in the world today). The shooting world is divided when it comes to the guns made by this company. Some shooters will only buy a Glock. Others did not buy one if it was the only gun in the store.

Why such a separation? I have seen this situation before in some of the other Glock reviews, link below. Suffice it to say that some people value Gaston's famous pistols a lot while others not so much. They feel

Some with small hands. They are too simple for others. There is no thumb safety yet for other shooters. Some even say that the price is high.
However, if you are on the other side of the road, they are about the best guns. There isn't much of a gray area with these guns. What most people can agree on, however, is that the M43 is a great concealable pistol.

The Glock 43 9mm pistol took the shooting world by storm when it appeared in April 2015. Bold and heavily promoted by Glock, it was the company's first single-action 9mm. The demand for such guns is great among Glockophiles. Many were disappointed, if I remember correctly, Glock introduced the M42 .380 before the 9mm version came out.
Regardless, it was a good seller and remains so to this day, although I imagine the 43X double-stack cut into its sales a bit. Many people prefer to carry 10 rounds in the 43X flush-fit magazine over the standard 6 rounds of the 43, given the choice, even though the grip is wider. There is a detailed newspaper for at least 43, one of the pictures here.

So now we know where the company comes from and how Gen 3 guns differ from Gen 4. All these basic knowledge are necessary to analyze Glock guns along with understanding terms, generations, etc. Now the model gun in front of us? Why did Glock decide to come out with a single-shot subcompact 9mm? In a word, demand.
Review: The Glock 48 Is A Solid Concealed Carry Option
43 was the first Glock caliber that could be carried in a pants pocket. I know a few people who do. Weighing 20 ounces or more and just four and a quarter inches long, it fits into a pocket. (Never carry a pocket gun in your pocket - it's in a holster).
Another question I can always ask is: "What generation is that 43?", to which I answer: "His". 43 is technically Gen 4. But, looking at it, it looks like Gen 5 without fingerprint. However, there is no Gen 5 ambidextrous slide stop/release and no nDLC finish, just a Marksman barrel.
So, this general was the pioneer of the 5 gun. This is one of the most popular Glocks out there and they sell a lot. At least my friends who have them love them, regardless of generation.
Here are a few pictures I took of the 43 - I didn't take too many because once you've seen one Glock you've seen them all.

The beveled striker block helps ease the slide due to the beveled edges. Some manufacturers have installed similar barriers.
Those who are 43 hidden may want to practice with it regularly. Or, I can rephrase that to say that anyone who carries a gun needs to practice regularly.
My point is that smaller guns take more practice and shooting than larger guns - at least in my experience. I've driven both cars and at times I've had a little more trouble getting my hands on the subcompact than some of its bigger brothers. The problem is that smaller guns are easier to conceal than larger guns but are sometimes more difficult to hold, draw and shoot accurately.
Some people shoot larger guns simply because they can get all of their fingers and it helps with accuracy at longer distances. There is also the feeling that the larger guns feel inferior to their cousins due to the increased weight.

In any case, if you can easily draw and shoot a 9mm 6-round, the 43 is a good candidate for concealed carry. To copy the Beatles, you don't just need love, you need practice. And, I know some of you love to exercise - don't we all?
The last factor you may need to overcome is withdrawal. I mentioned it above but I wanted to take a moment. When you're shooting a 19-ounce 9mm with a target load, this isn't much of a problem. But, go back to the load you want and suddenly it develops a character, sometimes the little plastic and metal is not so great. Some small guns can be quite sturdy.
Today, the 9mm isn't as aggressive on the rear end as, say, a .40 S&W or a .45 ACP, but a 9mm defensive load can still be a little tight, especially if you're recoil- sensitive. I find that starting to shoot my favorite 9mm target load of 4.8 long powder under the nose of a 124-grain Lee round, primed with a Fiocchi SP primer, is a good way to start adjusting the recoil. There is a way
Gradual progression to factory FMJ rounds and then full safety loads has worked for me and others in the past. I'm not very sensitive but it seems to bother me as I get older. So, I'm always ready for an easy-on-the-wrist item. I'll talk more about my experience with this gun and get down to shooting it (below).

I had the weather in my backyard. It's dangerous to face the cold and it's a bit windy there but my desire to shoot this little boy overcame my composure. I shot my above load which is usually very accurate with any gun it is shot as well as the excellent Fiocchi 124-grain JHP. I also got lucky with that item.
My hand was disappointed with this gun which surprisingly Fiocchi did well. Here are the goals.
The vertical strap is obvious, although you'll see it more often with rifles than rifles. In any case, all holes are on paper. He doesn't like my mom. And yes, it's a load of bullets. I put several rounds through my Glock 30 in .45 ACP. As long as you clean the barrel regularly, you shouldn't have any problems.
I cannot officially endorse the use of lead bullets due to Glock's policy that solid bullets are not to blame. Do not fire a gun made from a poly-gun. These pellets will dislodge the lead and cause friction that can quickly lead to extreme conditions.

For that matter, this can also happen with regular gun barrels. Avoid plain bullets if you can unless you're shooting very light loads, and don't shoot them in stock Glock barrels. All I'm saying is shoot the hard-cast, then get rid of it. Only you can decide what type of ammunition you put in your Glock.
JHP stuff is a different story. Kicked very hard and lifted the gun from the bag with each shot. Now, I shoot full loads of .44 magnum and am used to recoil. I'm just making a subjective comparison between the two 9mm loads. You can tell you're hitting something stronger than a 1000 fps target load when I held the Fiocchi steady.
Looking at the target, it looks like I have two clusters: one in the middle of the target and one slightly lower left. It was interesting, to say the least. I used a hold that placed the front sight under the little black box and shot from the bag at about 20 yards.
I often tell myself that, in order to lift weights successfully, I have to kick it a little
